We were honoured and privileged to have played a small part in The Glenturret submission to the Distillers One of One Charity Auction. This is a prestigious event showcasing the best of the Scotch whisky industry, and The Glenturret is one of the most iconic distilleries in the world.
We were asked to create a very special embossing for the bottles which were sealed with our premium metallic gold wax. Our in-house team created the master brass die by hand and we were honoured to be invited to personally apply the finishing touch to each of these very special bottles for The Glenturret’s auction submission.
Our contribution to this project may have been small, but important, and we were delighted to support such a worthy cause. The Distillers’ Charity is a vital organization that provides support to young people in Scotland, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential.
The Glenturret Enduring Spirit collection is a totally unique and special offering and is a testament to the skill and artisanry of The Glenturret team that made it such a tremendous success at the auction. We were excited to see that it sold for£125,000, (raising £100,000 for The Distillers’ Charity breaking previous records), and to know it had, briefly, passed through Oakbank Products.
